I spent two days driving around the Netherlands in the TA van shooting gardens for possible use as backgrounds in the show. I went first to Kasteel Het Nijenhuis in Wijhe which is a beautiful Manor surrounded by a moat in the middle of the the countryside.  It’s now an art museum.  The guards offered me a coffee which happens everywhere I go and it’s a wonderful Dutch or European custom.  Then I travelled south to Heerlen to shoot at Huys de Dohm, the beutiful home of Ineke Greve.  It’s her last year gardening in the exquisite world she has greated over many years.  She seems a bit forlorn but also quite resolved that she wants to stop working so hard and have a bit of time to enjoy  life outside the garden walls.  I came away with a lot of beautiful video clips and the wish I could stay for a month to make a documentary.
